This Royal Park hotel wedding is sure to spark some micro wedding inspiration and give some awesome winter vibes.
I adore winter weddings, more so I adore micro winter weddings. I am so stoked that micro weddings are becoming more on-trend. Don’t get me wrong I love a big fat (insert your heritage here) wedding but I can also appreciate a small micro wedding. This micro wedding at the Royal Park Hotel is a great example of a mico wedding done right!
Whether you’re planning a large elegant wedding or a more intentional micro wedding The Royal Park Hotel is such a great venue. Jackie and Brad’s wedding took place in Feb here in Michigan. To say it was chilly is an understatement. We finished up their bridal party photos in record time to ensure no one’s toes fell off lol.
Thankfully the Royal Park Hotel has some neat spots indoors for photos as well. We used the side lobby to create some interesting editorial images. We also made a point to head back outside later in the evening for some backlit photos to ensure Jackie and Brad’s gallery had enough variety.
As you’ll notice in our example timeline here I love to include extra little sessions like sunset and backlit on a wedding day. These 15-20 min sessions really break up the day and allow for a ton of diversity in your wedding gallery.
But back to Jackie and Brad’s awesome micro wedding, after their ceremony, they celebrated with their closest friends and family in the Royal Park Hotel’s ballroom. They danced the night away in a room decorated for royalty.
Cheers to Jackie and Brad! Thank you so much for allowing us to make some magic with you.
