It’s no secret that covid has affected weddings big and small. I am always amazed at creative couples can be. I was so lucky to be a part of Sarah and Bilal’s Michigan Micro wedding.
2020 has been interesting, to say the least. I have been so lucky to have really amazing creative couples to weather the storm. Sarah and Bilal’s wedding is a great example of carrying on despite challenges being thrust at them.
2020 and Covid has presented couples with many unique challenges. Couples usually plan their weddings a full year in advice. However, these couples have had to make the hard choice to either move their weddings completely, celebrate with a mini ceremony (aka a minimony) on their OG wedding date and a large reception later or have a Michigan micro wedding. The Knot wrote this great article about Micro weddings vs Minimonys you can check that out here https://www.theknot.com/content/what-is-a-microwedding
I’ve been here helping my couples make the choice that makes the most sense to them. Which has been hard but to see an amazing mini wedding such as this makes it all worthwhile.
