A Spring Wedding at The Garden Theater, Detroit, Michigan | Chelsea and Matt

Love stories are like flowers – unique, vibrant, and each one with its own special bloom. (be sure to check out how stunning Chelsea and Matt’s tablescapes are). In the heart of Detroit, amidst the city’s rich history and cultural heritage, Chelsea and Matt embarked on their journey into wedded bliss at the iconic Garden Theater.

Chelsea and Matt started their day in the expansive getting-ready space at the Garden Theater. Chelsea, surrounded by her mother and mother-in-law. Matt with his father, brother and best friends. I love the nod to the 90’s when Chelsea “iced” the groomsmen.

Chelsea and Matt chose to keep things close to the Venue. For this we chose the historic Detroit Public Libary on Woodward for their couples and wedding party photos. The Detroit Public Library is a stunning structure that offers an architecturally rich backdrop and some green space to mix up the concrete of the city streets.

For couples seeking a unique and memorable wedding experience, The Garden Theater offers a range of customizable wedding packages. In addition to their wide range of packages, there are so many ways to make the space your. Chelsea and Matt chose to use The Garden Theater’s Atrium for their ceremony. We love being able to get a rather close view from above in this space, it really offers a unique perspective.

Following their ceremony they celebrated with their guests in the expansive theater space. Thanks to the expert styling of Loren from LDT events and the creative skill of Twigs and Branches this theater space was transformed into an elegant garden-themed recption.
Guests were wined and dined by the staff at the Garden Theater and danced the night away to the sounds of something borrowed studios.
