Boho Chic Odin’s Owl wedding

February 23, 2022

Jensyn and Chad’s Odin’s Owl wedding was one to remember. This Mid Michigan Barn wedding venue is stunning and this wedding has all the boho chic inspo you could want and then some.

When I arrive at a wedding I am always looking around for the perfect photo locations for details, couples portraits, where the sun will set etc. I was in love with the barn at Odin’s Owl, it has a legit owl face!!! But Jensyn blew me away with the little details she added to space. She had 3 boho-styled seating areas complete with couches and throw pillows!

After a short bit of admiring these details at this stunning Odin’s Owl wedding, I got to work styling her details. Check out this stunning invitation suite from simplyask.ed alongside this amazing bouquet from Events by I Candy

I was loving the warm tones of gold and copper they really tied the whole boho theme together.

I love doing a first look with the bridesmaids, seeing their faces is the best!!

Awe see, what I mean?! This is something I always try to add to my timelines.

A first look with dad is always a good one too. Seriously I tear up every freaking time!

These details…OMG, this boho-inspired tablescape takes this from a barn wedding to an elegant chic space.

Not interested in a first look with your soon-to-be spouse? What about a private letter reading? This will give you all the feels without the commitment to a first look.

The ceremony space at Odin’s Owl is great and look at Chad’s face

Odin’s Owl has a lot of open space for photos, having these seating areas set up made for a great spot for wedding party photos.

Taking a break during the reception while you’re guests are finishing up is a great way to maximize the diversity in your gallery. By sneaking out for 15 or so min during sunset you get some amazing photos and your guests won’t even know you’re gone!

If you time it right you can move from your sunset photos into your first dance, then you’re able to get the party started!

Speaking of parties, having late-night stations for your guests to enjoy is always a big hit. Take this cigar and Bourbon bar that was set up just outside the reception space.

On to my FAVORITE parts of the night…. Backlit photos. These have become a signature of Captured Couture

A last dance is something I’ve seen trending and something Jensyn was VERY interested in. Just the two of you alone for one last dance.

After your last dance, we have one last celebration to wish you well
