This Piquette plant wedding has it all, from a fabulous paper suit (created by none other than this amazing bride herself), one of the most gorgeous Industrial wedding venues in Detroit, amazing photos in my favorite places and wonderful stories to tie it all together.
I was lucky enough to have had Marie reach out to me after finding some of my images on Pinterest. She had stumbled across Magally and Keith’s Piquette plant wedding. Within our first couple of communications, I knew this couple and their wedding was going to be amazing.
As a Detroit wedding photographer, I get to see a lot of wonderful wedding venues but The Ford Piquette Plant is a truly amazing space for weddings!
It is one of my favorite Industrial wedding venues in Detroit! The Piquette Plant was Henry Ford’s Model T assembly plant, some of these very Model T’s line the ceremony and reception space to this day. That, along with the twinkle lights overhead and exposed brick, make this one of the coolest industrial venues in the city.
This couple shared in my love of Detroit and really wanted to capture the essence of the city. We made sure to use some of the best locations for wedding photos in Detroit. We also made use of the view from the rooftop of the Piquette Plant.
