Michigan Wedding Photographers – An Amazing Same sex wedding at MileStone Barn

It was such a pleasure working with these two amazing women! Courtney and Dianna share such a strong love and connection with one another. During their Ann Arbor engagement session I had the opportunity to hear more about their love story. As we walked the Streets of A2 they shared with me where they’d go for date nights and how their love evolved.

On their wedding day we arrived at The Milestone barn where their closest friends and family stood by in support of their union. Due to unforeseen weather challenges they were forced to move their ceremony into the barn. But I felt the moody skies and cool breeze set the tone for some amazing photos, see below to get the full effect of what I mean.

Before dinner Courtney’s family shared loving stories of how they embraced Dianna and welcomed their new daughter. Dianna’s family discussed how happy they were that she had found the love of her life. I can honestly say there was not a dry eye in the house. As the night progressed the dance floor was packed with so much love and energy. You could really feel that this marriage was more than just two people coming together but rather two families, Such an amazing night with such amazing people!

Of course I could not end the evening without one of my infamous backlit sessions. These ladies pulled out the bubbly so they could pop bottles for their backlit photos <3
