Michigan Wedding Photographer | A Stunning Wedding at The Whitney Detroit
Anyone who knows me or has even talked with me about my business knows that I am a sucker for a good love story. I mean I have chosen to build my business around being a wedding photographer. I adore hearing about how my client’s met, how they fell in love and how they plan to move forward in the future.
Nichole and Scott’s story warmed my heart and fed my romantic soul. The story started with a casual meeting on Christian Mingle  they shared how they both had 3 children, their love of travel and devotion to god. As those conversations got more serious they turned from click clacks on the keyboard to  evening phone chats. One night they were on the phone and Scott asked Nicole to hold on for a moment while a jet passed over his house. Nichole paused for a moment and said “is that the same jet going over my place?” They laughed for a moment only to realize they lived just a block away from each other. After a couple dates they knew this was their forever person.
When the wedding day arrived Nichole was calm and she looked stunning. Honestly, I felt like she could have lived in The Whitney. Her attire was chic, make-up flawless and that bouquet!
Scott was a little more anxious to see his bride for the first time. He was excited and a bit nervous. Their first look almost had ME in tears, I mean look at how happy he is! As they shared their first moments together I stepped back and let things happen naturally without inference.
We stayed on the grounds of the Whitney for their photos, using the garden as our main location we then moved into the bridal party photos and on to the ceremony.  Hearing them say their I do’s made me so happy that they  took a chance and allowed one another into their lives.
