Detroit Engagement photographer | An Adventurous engagment session

As a wedding photographer I get to photograph a lot of amazing couples, with some really awesome ideas but once in awhile it’s nice to get out and shoot something for me. That’s just what this session was about. I met this couple at a wedding I was shooting a few months ago. Travis was the best man and his (now) fiancée Christina was his guest. When I saw them I knew they were people I wanted to photograph. They both had such an interesting vibe to them. But what really sealed the deal with was hearing Trav’s speech to his life long friend.

Upon asking them to model for me they had told me they lived out of state but were planning to come back for another wedding. The stars aligned and we were able to make this session work, with one added bonus… Travis purposed to Christina in Mexico just before they headed back here. So this model call turned into a full on engagement session!
