Can we talk for a moment about what drives me as a Michigan wedding photographer?

The smiles, the kisses, the roar of applause as the couple is announced the new Mr. and Mrs. It’s all of these things and a little more. It’s the diversity of the wedding day, it’s seeing couples at their happiest moments and sometimes at their most stressed. It’s being beside a couple for a year plus leading up to their wedding day and seeing all of their time and effort come to life.

Deanna and Tom’s wedding will go down as a favorite in my book for so many reasons. I remember when I met Deanna she was completing medical school. She was going through grueling schedule changes for her residency and Tom was there by her side lifting her up and cheering her on. During their engagement session, we talked about how these things affected their day to day life together. Despite how intense Deanna’s schedule was she smiled and said that Tom helped her in any way he could. You can see how amazing their session was here

Their wedding day was blissful. It was full of details large and small, friends and family, and of course lots of love and laughter. This Inn at St. Johns’s wedding started at the bridal suite. The girls had a blast getting ready and look at those stunning bridal images we got there.

Our next stop was St. Thomas the Apostle Church this church is stunning and right in the middle of Ann Arbor which is great for wedding party photos!

The atrium at The Inn at St. Johns was packed full of white garden roses and hydrangeas. The table decor was elegant with touches of crystal and silver. Bellisario’s really knew how to make statement arrangements that would compliment the room’s already stunning decor and not be too much.

This couple’s love shines so brightly you can see the love and support they share. Cheers to Deanna and Tom! May you have many years of love and laughter.
