I simply love the Milestone Barn in northern Michigan. This barn has it all, a super sweet bridal suite, tons of amazing locations for the photos and best coordinator around (Really Caroline is amazing!). I am always excited to be photographing a wedding here! Lauren and Joe’s wedding was extra special to me because I felt like I had really gotten a chance to grow with this couple.

When Lauren booked with me she was super sweet and also super excited for her wedding. Little did she know life would throw her the most wonderful curveball ever. She found out she was expecting her daughter just a couple weeks before their engagement session. So not only was able to be capture their engagement session but also their pregnancy announcement!

When the big day arrived I was greeted by the sweetest family ever. Lauren’s aunt who was also officiating the ceremony introduced me to all the important family members and we instantly felt we were part of the family. This is always a great feeling because you can really get into the candid moments.
